If your a big HP fan you’ll probably know what my title is all about. That’s Severus Snape’s patronus as well as Lily Potter’s (Harry’s mom). Love the idea behind it . Just finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows last night (for the nth time!  lol lost count). I decided to read it again since i saw so many pictures of the movie on tumblr. My heart beats so fast whenever i see those pictures, its a mixture of emotions really ( sadness, excitement and curiosity). Can’t wait to see the movie though i know that i will be disappointed like i did with the previous ones. How i wish they could stick to the book and not alter it because the story is really great. This last book for me is the best one ever in my opinion.

So since internet connection is not slow this time, i decided to make my new post now before internet slows down again (hope not).

A lot of things happened these past few weeks since my first day back to college life started last June 15. Finally I’m now on my fourth year! Only two more years to go and i’ll be off away from school .

How was my first two weeks of school? Well it did not feel like two weeks to me. I felt like i was already going to school for almost a month now! The very first day our professor announced that we have to make our research paper and pass it this friday! I was really pissed when he said this. How on earth can i make a research paper within 3 weeks? Hello?! I really don’t understand his purpose for this. Then we had our very first Electronics 3 quiz, was surprised to find the quiz a little easy (maybe because we only had 1 hour to finish it) though i’m not sure if my answers are right, but i’m hoping it is Got my fingers crossed.

I also started my On-the-job Training at PLDT. At first i was really excited about it.  On what they’re going to teach us and the learnings that i’m going to have while i’m there. I learned a lot about how a telephone works and how they connect it from the equipment to the cabinet, to the post, and then to houses. I was surprised to know that a lot of people (10-30) actually requests for a new telephone/DSL connections every day. I mean that’s a lot for one day! It used to be a lot of fun. But now that i’m started to get used to it. I’m starting to get bored and i can’t wait for it to be over because we do the same thing everyday. I still have 2 or 3 weeks left though. Btw just had my first field work together with my boss, fellow OJT’s and contractors. It was fun at least we get to go out of the office and go somewhere else. The best part was lunch . Was my first time to eat fried catfish! Very delish! Then we ate my favorite durian on our way back to the site. Thanks Sir Ariel :P

Well enough of that. As you all know i’m also a big Lakers fan! Was not able to see their last 4 games but i am really happy that they are the champions again! yey! looking forward on watching the replay of their championship game.

Thanks to Artest, Kobe, Dereck, Lamar, Gasol and the rest of the team. They really desreved it. A lot of people doubted them but still there could only be one.

Hi guys! Miss you all so much. I am really sorry for not updating for almost a month or more than that i think. I was busy with my summer class and i was really lazy to make a new post. Also i can’t think of anything for a new post.

Anyways school’s here again! I honestly feel anxious and excited. I don’t know why. I usually feel sad whenever i know that summer vacations going to end and i have to go back to school. School stresses me out really hahah and i’m quite sure that this school year will give me bigger problems and difficulties than the last one. I promised myself that i will do anything to pass all my subjects even if it means no INTERNET! Yes, i am willing to sacrifice my happiness (exaggerating). But i still have Saturdays to update my blogs though.

So, in order for me to have good grades and avoid that cruel red pen of doom,  I researched some things that might help me on studying affectively and found some pretty good tips. Here are some of the things that i learned, hope this will help others too.

Eat Frequent Small Meals. Avoid eating a big meal before a study session. Too much food will send your body into a ‘rest’ mode. On the other hand, don’t starve yourself either. Frequent small meals are best. (Maybe that’s why i alway feel lazy. )

Study When You’re Sharpest. Study according to your body-clock. Are you sharpest in the morning or at the evening? Schedule your most difficult materials when you are mentally at your best, and schedule the easier ones when you are mentally less efficient.

Drink Water Often. Drink plenty of water during a study session, especially when you feel sluggish. Caffeine may help you to stay awake, but it can increase your anxiety – use it in moderation.

Don’t Get Too Comfortable in Your Chair. Choose a chair that supports your back. It should be comfortable, but not too comfortable. Just like an athlete during a performance, your body should be relaxed, so that all your energy goes to where it matters – your brain.

Clear Your Desk of Everything You Don’t Need. Have everything you need on the desk. Put away what you do not need for the study session it will only distract you.

Take Breaks Every Hour. It is important to take a break before you feel tired and lose your concentration completely. Regular breaks at least once an hour helps to sustain your concentration. If the work is not going too well and you have difficulties in concentrating, you may need a long break and go back to it later. ( hahah i always do this, and most of the times it ruins my studying )

Stretch During Your Breaks. Know and respect your concentration span which will vary from hour to hour and from day to day. When you sit for long periods, gravity draws the blood to the lower part of your body. When you take a break, take a few deep breaths and get more oxygen to your brain: try walking around and doing some light stretching for a few minutes. It will help to release tension in your body, and help your circulation.

Study at the Same Time, Same Place. Study at the same time and at the same place, devoted to study only. This helps you to associate the time and place with studying and concentrating. You will find that you get into a habit of studying as soon as you sit down.

Ok going to American Idol. Lee Dewyze is the new American Idol! Yey. I really love this guy he’s really talented so are the other contestants like Crystal, Casey, Michael and the others ( except Tim! I dont like him, sorry ). Can’t wait to hear Lee’s songs. And i am very sure that I’ll be loving it. And btw why is David Cook not on the Finale? I was really disappointed that he was not there . He’s the best American Idol winner in my opinion.

Yup the title and the picture says it all. I’m going to talk about GLEE.

I’ve really fallen in love with this show. Its not just funny but its teaches you about a lot of important things like the value of friendship, being true to yourself, being brave, taking chances, giving others a chance and a whole lot more. And of course Glee would not be Glee without the music. I have always been a music lover and i just love songs and i love how they put a twist to every song that they sing. And i cannot wait for season 2.

So who’s my favorite character? Well actually there are two . Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) and Will Shuester (Matthew Morrison) . I just love this tandem. They are very funny together especially when they fight. I love Sue because she gives the story a thrill and i think Glee would not be exciting without her. She hates the Glee club so much that she would do anything to bring it down to the ground! Mr. Shuester is a Spanish Teacher who is in charge of the GLee Club. He loves and believes in his Glee club members.

As for the Glee club members? I personally love Artie Abrams (Kevin McHale) for me his voice is better than Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith) and i dont’t even think that Finn’s voice is powerful or good. And Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) oh wow! Very powerful voice. I am really amazed at her every time she hits those very high notes! Its just amazing.

I am so excited for season two! I’m sure its going to be more exciting and amazing than season 1.

Ok out of topic well this summer i get super bored a lot of times especially when i’m not using the computer. So to kill that boredom I took pictures of things and decided to make a Photo Blog wanna see? Click here. So What do you think? My father bought me those roses for my 20th birthday .
